How to assign a modifier group to an item

  1. Go to Catalog then Items and open the item.
  2. Click the Modifiers tab.
  3. Click Add Modifier Group.
  4. Select the modifier group from the dropdown.
  5. Click Save. The modifier choices now appear whenever this item is added to an order on the POS.

Assigning one modifier group to multiple items

Modifier groups are fully reusable — assign the same group to as many items as needed. For example, a Sauce Choice group can be assigned to every burger, sandwich, and wrap on your menu without recreating it each time. Any changes to the group (adding a new sauce, for example) instantly apply everywhere it is assigned.

How to remove a modifier group from an item

  1. Open the item and go to the Modifiers tab.
  2. Find the modifier group to remove.
  3. Click the remove icon next to it.
  4. Click Save. The choices no longer appear for this item on the POS. The modifier group itself is not deleted — it remains available to assign to other items.
