What is a category?
Categories sit inside super categories and group related items together. For example, a Food super category might contain Burgers, Salads, and Sandwiches categories. Staff tap a category on the POS to see all items inside it.
How to create a category

- Enter the category name.
- Select the Super Category this category belongs to from the dropdown — this is required.
- Select a Tax Class.
- Click Add Category & Setup.
- Optionally add an image and customize display settings on the next screen.
How to assign a category to a different super category
- Open the category from the Categories tab.
- Change the Super Category dropdown to the new parent.
- Click Save. The category moves immediately and all items inside it move with it.
How to enable coursing for a category
