How to set an employee pay rate

  1. Open the employee's profile in the portal.
  2. Go to the Pay Rate tab.
  3. Enter their hourly rate or salary.
  4. Click Save. Pay rate data feeds into labor cost reports.

How to generate a QR code for an employee

  1. Open the employee's profile.
  2. Tap Generate QR Code.
  3. The employee can use this QR code to clock in on the POS instead of entering their PIN — faster for high-volume environments.

How to set Clock In only access

If an employee should only be able to clock in and out — not access the full POS — enable Clock In Only in their profile settings. This is useful for kitchen staff, dishwashers, or part-time employees who do not take orders.

How to deactivate an employee

  1. Open the employee's profile.
  2. Toggle their status to Inactive.
  3. Click Save. The employee can no longer log into the POS but their record is preserved for reporting history.
