What is the Vivid backend portal?

The backend portal is a web-based dashboard for managing your menu, employees, reports, and settings. It is completely separate from the POS app and accessible from any browser on any device — desktop, tablet, or phone.

How to log in

  1. Open any web browser and go to your dedicated Vivid portal URL (provided by your onboarding specialist).
  2. Enter your email address and password.
  3. Click Sign In.

Forgot your password? Click Forgot Password on the login screen and follow the reset link sent to your email.

Navigating the portal

Use the left navigation menu to access all sections:

  • Catalog — manage your menu, items, and modifiers
  • Employees — add and manage staff
  • Reports — view sales, labor, and transaction data
  • Configuration — system settings and feature toggles
  • Modules — enable add-ons like Loyalty, E-Commerce, and Digital Signage

If the nav is collapsed, click the hamburger icon at the top left to expand it.

Switching between locations

If you manage multiple locations, use the location selector at the top of the portal to switch between them. Each location has its own menu, employees, and settings — changes made in one location do not affect others.
