How to start a takeout order

1. From the home screen, open the service area selector and choose Take Out.
2. Tap the + button to open a new order.
3. Add items — tap any item to add modifiers or special instructions.
4. Tap Send / Stay to fire to the kitchen and keep the ticket open, or Pay to close immediately.

How to enable SMS notifications

SMS notifications let customers know when their order is ready — no staff member needed to track them down.

1. Navigate to Settings then Notifications on the POS.
2. Toggle on SMS Notifications.
3. Customers with a phone number on file receive a text automatically when their order is ready.

Note: SMS notifications require an active SMS add-on. Contact your Vivid rep if you do not see this option.

How to take delivery orders

1. Select the Delivery service area.
2. Tap + to start a new delivery order.
3. Add the customer's address and contact details.
4. Add items to the order and tap Send to fire to the kitchen.

How to set a delivery radius

1. In the backend portal go to Configuration then Delivery Settings.
2. Enter the maximum delivery radius in miles.
3. Click Save. Orders outside this radius will not be accepted for delivery.
